The new name
Why did PluginVault become Woopo?
The store started as plugins only, and it is expanding to drum kits, sound kits, vocal packs, and free browser tools for producers. PluginVault only described a fraction of that. Woopo is short, easy to say, and does not box us in.
Did anything change for my account or my purchases?
No. Same store, same account, same purchases, same team. Sign in with the details you already use and your library is exactly where you left it.
Do my old pluginvault.app links still work?
Yes. pluginvault.app forwards to woopo.app, so old bookmarks, shared links, and links in past emails still land in the right place. There is nothing you need to update.
Why does the app I downloaded still say PluginVault?
The desktop app and its installer still carry the old name, and they will be renamed in a later update. If the file you download is called PluginVault, it is the right one. It signs in with your same account and works exactly as before.
Are emails coming from a new sender now?
Emails now come from Woopo instead of PluginVault, sent by the same team, with the same receipts, download links, and password resets. If one lands in spam, mark it as not spam so the next one reaches your inbox.
I sell on the store. What happens to my developer account and payouts?
Nothing changes. Your developer account, your products, your sales history, and your payout setup carry over untouched. There is nothing to re-register, re-upload, or reconnect.
Installing plugins
How do I install a plugin I bought?
Download the free Woopo app, sign in, and your library appears. Click Install on any plugin you own and it drops straight into your DAW. No installers to hunt down, no serial keys to type.
Which formats and systems are supported?
Plugins are offered as VST3, AU, and/or CLAP. Each plugin's page lists its formats and supported systems. The Woopo app runs on Windows and macOS.
Do plugins update automatically?
Yes. New versions install quietly in the background through the app, so you are always on the latest build without doing anything.
Purchases & billing
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled securely by Stripe. You can buy a single plugin, add several to your cart and check out together, or buy a bundle.
Can I use a promo code?
Yes. Enter it on the plugin page before checkout. Valid codes show the discounted price before you pay.
What is your refund policy?
If you haven't downloaded a plugin yet, you can refund it for any reason within 14 days, right from your Orders page. Once you download it that purchase is final, but a faulty or not-as-described plugin is covered for 30 days. Try the demo first where one is offered, and see the Refund Policy page for full details.
Can I gift a plugin?
Yes. On the plugin page, tick “Gift this to someone” and enter their Woopo username. It lands in their library and they get an email.
Rent-to-own
How does rent-to-own work?
On eligible plugins you can split the price into small monthly payments and start using it right away. There's no interest and no hidden fees.
Can I pause or cancel?
You can pause anytime from Account → Rent-to-own and your progress is saved. Once you complete all the payments, the plugin is yours to keep forever.
Cloud presets
What are cloud presets?
On supported plugins (marked with a cloud badge), every preset you save syncs to your account. Sign in on another machine and they're already there.
Account
How do I change my username or avatar?
Go to Account and edit your profile. Your username is how others find you for gifts, and you can set your avatar letter and color.
Do you support two-factor authentication?
Yes, free. Turn on 2FA from your account settings using any authenticator app.
Selling your plugins
How do I sell my plugins?
Request a developer account from the Sell page. Once approved you can build your plugin pages, connect Stripe for payouts, and publish.
