how the key and bpm finder works
Drop in wav, mp3, flac or m4a files and the analyzer reads the audio right in your browser to find the musical key, the tempo in bpm, and the matching Camelot code for harmonic mixing. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so your music stays private and there is no file limit.
Every result shows a confidence score and the next most likely keys, so ambiguous tracks are easy to double check. Results are saved on your device between visits and can be exported to CSV for your DJ library.

how accurate is the key and bpm detection?
Every result comes with a confidence score and the next most likely keys, because no analyzer gets every track right. In our tests on real songs, high-confidence results are right more than four times out of five, and when confidence is low the true key is usually among the listed alternatives.
what is a camelot code?
Camelot notation maps every musical key to a number and a letter, like 8A for A minor. Keys next to each other on the wheel blend harmonically, so DJs use the codes to pick tracks that mix without clashing.
do my files get uploaded?
No. The analysis runs inside your browser, your music never leaves your device, and results are saved locally so they are still there when you come back.
