the quick edits that don't need a daw

Some jobs are too small for a DAW and too fiddly for single-purpose tools: stitch a mixtape together, drop a voice intro over the start of a beat, clean two takes into one file, flip a sample backwards. This editor covers that middle ground: clips in a list, each with its own trim, gain and reverse, joined by equal-power crossfades, with an optional loudness pass at the end.

The preview button always plays the exact file you would download. Everything happens on your device: recordings and files are never uploaded anywhere.

common questions

how do I join two songs together?

Drop both files in, put them in order with the arrows, set a crossfade length, and download. The crossfade is equal power, so the seam keeps a constant level instead of dipping.

can I record my voice and add it to a track?

Yes. Hit record from the mic, speak, stop, and the take lands in the timeline as a clip like any other. Trim it, set its gain against the music, and export the whole thing.

does it work with different formats and sample rates?

Mix freely: mp3 next to wav next to a phone video's audio. Everything is decoded and resampled to a common rate before joining, and the export is one clean mp3 or wav.

what does the loudness option do?

It measures the finished mix the way streaming services do and adjusts it to hit the target, minus 14 LUFS for most platforms, with the true peak kept under minus 1 dBTP.
