volume booster
Make MP3s louder or normalize them to Spotify's loudness for free, right in your browser.
make audio louder the right way
Turning up a file is easy; doing it without clipping is the real job. This tool measures every track with the same ITU BS.1770 engine as our loudness checker, applies exactly the gain needed to hit your target, and refuses to push the true peak past minus 1 dBTP. Normalize a DJ library to one level, lift a quiet voice memo, or bring a batch of old mp3s up to streaming loudness in one pass.
Everything runs in your browser: files are never uploaded, single files download directly, and batches arrive as one zip.
common questions
how do I make an mp3 louder without distortion?
Every file is measured first, and boosts are capped so the true peak never goes above minus 1 dBTP, the level where lossy conversion starts to clip. When a file cannot take the full boost you asked for, the row says peak-capped instead of silently distorting it.
what does normalize to LUFS mean?
LUFS measures perceived loudness the way streaming services do. Normalizing a batch to one target, like minus 14 for Spotify or minus 9 for a DJ library, gives every track the same apparent volume, which is what people actually want when they say make these the same loudness.
can I do a whole folder at once?
Yes, drop any number of files. Each is measured and processed on your device and the results download together as one zip.
